Macao Studio City - Asia's first leisure resort property combining studios, retail, entertainment and world-class hotels. The US$2 billion project is scheduled to open in mid-2009. Description of Project:  A world-class entertainment and resort complex combining studios, retail, world-class hotels and a variety of entertainment options.
Location:  Cotai, Macao (Lotes G300, G310 e G400); directly north of the Lotus Bridge immigration checkpoint
Major Shareholders:   eSun Holdings Ltd (60%) (through its subsidiary, East Asia Satellite Television Holdings) and New Cotai LLC (40%). New Cotai is a consortium of private US-based investment firms Silver Point Capital, L.P., Oaktree Capital Management, LLC, and veteran resort and gaming developer David Friedman. CapitaLand is a shareholder in East Asia Satellite Television Holdings owning 33.3% of that venture.
